When conceiving a new wine you need to know the history of the territory. Our studies of ancient documents - “Il Roccolo” by A. Acanti, written in 1754 – has confirmed the historic presence of Prosecco on the Berici Hills, in particular, the Balbi vine, a primitive strain of Prosecco.

This pushed us to rediscover the past and enrich it with cutting-edge technologies, studying new grafts, bringing a traditional, undeservedly forgotten wine back in vogue, attracting a growing number of connoisseurs. It is the prized jewel of a company that looks to the future without forgetting its roots, keeping the status of the Italian sparkling wine tradition alive.

La Pria Prosecco or sparkling wine represents the love for our work and the passion that accompanies us each day. Produced almost entirely in the traditional manner, we keep vineyard interventions reduced to a minimum, while taking advantage of the knowledge that modern oenology has to offer. The result is an Italian product of excellence.

This wine begins life as still and reaches a vivacious perlage thanks to the Charmat process. But, above all, it is one of the few varietal sparkling wines in Italy – that means 100% Prosecco. We have rediscovered and reinvented a sparkling wine that is not too complex, a wine that can be enjoyed every day, because the quality of life is made up of those small everyday pleasures. In short, a wine created for those who know how to indulge themselves, who recognise the value of time and taste, who love to enjoy life, even the intense colour of a good glass of wine.
